The 2024-2025 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm
The program, held at the Martyr Bülent Yurtseven Campus Indoor Sports Hall, was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Gürel, Deputy Governor Abdurrahman Çelebi, Deputy Mayor of Iğdır Nesim Yiğit, Rector of Kars Kafkas University Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Kapu, Rector of Ardahan University Prof. Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu, Consul General of Azerbaijan in Kars Zamin Mammad oğlu Aliyev, Secretary General of our University Ahmet Kızılkurt, provincial officials, vice rectors, faculty deans, vocational school directors, academics, students, and their families.
One of the most striking moments of the ceremony was when Dr. Emirhan Özdemir, Deputy Head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, recorded the excitement of graduation with a drone. Both students and attendees were delighted by the unique perspective created by the aerial footage of the ceremony. These special images captured by the drone immortalized the excitement of graduation and left behind impressive memories of the ceremony.
The most proud recipient of the ceremony was Diyar Saltürk, the valedictorian of the Technical Sciences Vocational School (TBMYO). Saltürk, a student in the Land Registry and Cadastre Program, was invited to the podium as the valedictorian of the 2024-2025 academic year for her outstanding achievements. Applauding, Saltürk walked onto the stage and was emotionally charged as she received her plaque. The young graduate, emphasizing that her success was no coincidence, thanked both her family and her teachers.
The program continued with the presentation of certificates of achievement and graduation certificates. Graduating students proudly donned their robes and tossed their caps into the air, celebrating their graduation. The graduation ceremony concluded with commemorative photos. While many families were moved to tears, the students' joy was a sight to behold.
