Eight academics from Iğdır University were included in the "World's Most Influential Scientists" list.
The list of "The World's Most Influential Scientists," published annually by Stanford University in collaboration with the Netherlands-based scientific publishing organization Elsevier, has been announced.
This year, 8 academics from Iğdır University were included in the list, which has great prestige in the scientific world.
The ranking was determined by taking into account the number of qualified publications, the impact value of the journals in which the publications were published, the number of citations, patents, h-index, hm-index and the scientific contributions of scientists throughout their academic careers.
In this context, Prof. Dr. Dureyt Veziroğlu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fikret Türkan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhittin Kulak, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali İhsan Şekertekin, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İshak Paçal, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selçuk Ekici, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülçin Yıldız and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faruk Özger from Iğdır University succeeded in entering the list.
