A Survey Evaluation Meeting Was Held Within the Scope of Quality and Improvement Studies

The results of satisfaction surveys conducted to improve the quality of education and student services were discussed at a well-attended meeting. The meeting, which brought together department faculty and class representatives, aimed to actively incorporate student opinions into quality improvement processes and improve the current situation.

At the meeting, valuable feedback from our students on a wide range of topics, including academic advising, classroom and laboratory conditions, library facilities, scholarship opportunities, social amenities, and transportation, was individually evaluated. The needs and proposed solutions highlighted by the survey results were productively discussed by our faculty and student representatives.

Some of the important topics discussed at the meeting and the resulting action plans are as follows:

  • Academic Development: It was decided to review the curriculum, increase the variety of elective courses and improve the academic advising system.
  • Physical Facilities: Priority was given to planning improvement efforts in areas such as classroom ventilation systems, computer laboratory equipment, and library resource diversity.
  • Social and Administrative Services: An agreement was reached to take concrete steps to support student clubs, increase social activities, improve cafeteria quality and on-campus transportation facilities.

The meeting demonstrated the effectiveness of dialogue between university administration and students. In line with the decisions made and action plans developed, the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning will continue its meticulous efforts to create a higher-quality, more accessible, and more comfortable learning environment for our students.

We would like to thank all our class representatives for their meaningful participation and our department professors for their valuable contributions.
