Industry Seminar by Kaya Harita in the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning
A seminar titled “Mapping Activities in the Private Sector” was organized by Kaya Harita, which has an important place in the mapping sector, for students of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning. Kaya Harita, one of the largest mapping rental and sales offices in Turkey, also stands out with its strong position in the sector as the Official Distributor of Alpha Geo Turkey and a TSE-approved service partner.
In the seminar, information was provided about Kaya Harita’s activities in the sector, and the company’s innovative technologies were also introduced. In the presentation made by speaker Sefa Bey, the a-GEO GNSS device was introduced and detailed information was shared about the areas of use of the device. Various gifts were presented to the students who attended the event by Kaya Harita, and special CORS passwords were given to them so that they could use the company’s CORS stations.
At the end of the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aliihsan ŞEKERTEKİN, Head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, presented Kaya Harita with a certificate of appreciation for his contributions. Kaya Harita also supported education and student projects by donating an a-GEO GNSS brand GNSS receiver to the department.
Bu değerli etkinlik, öğrencilerin sektörle olan bağlarını güçlendirmek ve haritacılık sektöründeki yeniliklerle tanışmalarını sağlamak adına önemli bir adım oldu.
