The graduation ceremony for the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning for the 2025-2026 academic year was held.
The Architecture and Urban Planning Department's 2025-2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held on June 5, 2026, at 10:30 AM in the Central Lecture Hall Conference Room, with the participation of students, academic staff, and their families.
The opening speech of the ceremony was given by the Director of the Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Aliihsan ŞEKERTEKİN. In his speech, our Director congratulated the graduating students and wished them success in their future lives and careers. Emphasizing that the bond they established with the students would continue even after graduation, our Director stated that the vocational school and its faculty members would always be there for their students.
Following this, a speech was given by Dr. Fevzi DAŞ, Acting Head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning. Dr. DAŞ expressed his satisfaction with the students' efforts and achievements during their two-year education and wished the graduates success in their future lives.
At the ceremony, Bülent ALTUN and Melisa ATAŞÇI, who were the top students in the Mapping and Cadastre Program and the Land Registry and Cadastre Program respectively, and also shared the top student title in the Vocational School of Technical Sciences, gave speeches on behalf of the graduating students. In their emotional speeches, the students expressed their gratitude to the academic staff and their families for their support throughout their education.
Following the speeches, certificates of achievement were presented to the students who had achieved top grades.

Following the award and certificate presentation, a video showcasing memories accumulated by the students throughout their two years of education was shown. The video presentation led to emotional moments in the hall.
The program continued with the presentation of diplomas to the graduating students one by one. The ceremony continued with great enthusiasm as the students threw their caps in the air, and concluded with a group photo session.
The Department of Architecture and Urban Planning congratulates all its graduating students and wishes them health, happiness, and success in this new phase of their lives.
