A Visit Was Paid to Mehti Cem Öztürk, a Graduate of the Mapping and Cadastre Program
Faculty members from the Mapping and Cadastre Program of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning at Iğdır University’s Technical Sciences Vocational School visited Mehti Cem Öztürk—a graduate of the program—at the Irrigation Union in Iğdır, where he is employed.
During the visit, information was exchanged regarding the professional work and career of our graduate, Mehti Cem Öztürk. The discussion also covered the practical application of the training provided in the Mapping and Cadastre Program in professional life, the fields of employment for graduates, and current practices within the sector.
During the visit conducted by faculty members, emphasis was placed on the importance of translating the theoretical and practical knowledge students acquire during their education into professional activities across various public institutions and private sector fields after graduation.
The visit, conducted to maintain contact with alumni and enable current students to benefit from their professional experiences, concluded following an exchange of mutual well-wishes.
Our department continues to strengthen its communication with our alumni and to support the sharing of professional knowledge and experience between our students and alumni.
