Prof. Dr. Aliihsan Şekertekin, a faculty member in our Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, participated as a speaker in the “Experience Talks” program—an event organized by our university’s International Relations Coordination Office as part of the Erasmus+ Days 2026 activities.

The program, held at the 8 September Martyrs’ Conference Hall in the Medico-Social Building, was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Haktan Sevinç, as well as academic and administrative staff and students.

During the program, Prof. Dr. Aliihsan ŞEKERTEKİN shared his experiences and the insights he gained abroad through the Erasmus+ program with the participants. The discussion offered an opportunity to learn about international mobility processes from the perspective of a faculty member and to gain information regarding the opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ program.

At the event, where other speakers also shared their experiences regarding student and staff mobility, the importance of discovering different cultures, enhancing foreign language skills, and engaging with international academic circles was discussed. The program, which evaluated the contributions of Erasmus+ mobility to academic, professional, and personal development, concluded following a Q&A session.
