UAV-0 and UAV-1 Commercial Pilot Training
Our university, which was authorized by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation to provide UAV-0 and UAV-1 Commercial Pilot Training, provided UAV-1 Commercial Pilot Training to the students of Gebze Technical University, Department of Surveying Engineering.
The training, which was carried out through our Continuing Education Center, was carried out face-to-face at Gebze Technical University by our University UAV Trainers Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aliihsan Şekertekin, Lecturer Dr. Emirhan Özdemir and Lecturer Rüştü Çallı.
In the training, firstly, the students were given the necessary theoretical training to be able to use UAVs in the UAV-0 and UAV-1 classes, and then practical training was given on the flight of UAVs.
As part of the practical training, students were subjected to a practical exam after performing UAV flying and steering operations.
Participants who successfully completed the training were presented with certificates approved by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation and our University's Continuing Education Center Directorate, as well as an IHA-1 commercial pilot's license.
